This course teaches the practical application/employment of the pistol and all its supporting tasks. Students are required to show proof of having attended a basic weapons safety course within the last 2 years. The priorities of training are being safe first, then accurate, then fast (through repetition). This course is two 3-hour static sessions that take place on the weekends from 7–10am and requires 400 rounds. The end-goal of Practical Pistol is for the student to be competent and confident with regards to the draw, presentation, manipulation of the guns mechanics, reloads, and economy of motion.
